What to send for a quote.
A drawing and an estimated quantity are a good starting point.
Part drawing
Include a PDF or CAD file and its revision. For a welded assembly, include the assembly drawing and the individual part drawings you have.
Manufacturing requirements
Identify the material grade, critical dimensions and tolerances. Add any finish, thread, weld or inspection requirements on the drawing or in your notes.
Quantity & delivery
Share the quantity for the first order, the delivery destination and any target date. An expected repeat volume is helpful if you have one.
